Dog Training Walks
Manners Maintenance is a focused 30 minute training walk designed to teach, preserve, and strengthen the obedience skills of your dog. Rather than a casual stroll, each session is structured with intention, blending exercise with real-world training to ensure manners remain consistent and reliable.
During these walks, everyday behaviors are practiced and reinforced in practical settings. Skills such as sitting politely at doorways, waiting calmly before exiting, loose leash walking, reliable recall, “leave it,” and maintaining composure around distractions are woven naturally into the outing. By working in real life situations, dogs learn to generalize their training beyond formal sessions and apply it where it matters most.
Positive reinforcement methods form the foundation of every interaction. Correct choices are clearly marked and rewarded, encouraging focus, engagement, and confidence. Rather than simply managing their behavior, the goal is to actively build understanding and motivation so that manners become second nature.
The result is a dog who returns home physically exercised, mentally enriched, and steady in their manners. This allows busy pet parents to maintain high standards while also incorporating an extra level of enrichment to their dog’s outings.
